Electrical Insulating Gloves

Electrical insulating gloves are critical PPE for electrical maintenance and operation. Made from high-dielectric elastomeric polymers, these gloves provide both flexibility and protection from electrical currents.

Material Advantages

  • Non-allergenic
  • High elasticity for dexterity
  • Durable against cracking, abrasion, and electrical permeation

Use in Live-Line Work

In energized systems, any contact with live conductors can be fatal. Gloves are therefore mandatory, especially in live-line maintenance. Class 0 gloves are specifically required for low-voltage industrial environments, as mandated by HSE regulations.

Glove Class Ratings

  • Class 00: Up to 500V AC
  • Class 0: Up to 1,000V AC
  • Class 1: Up to 7,500V AC
  • Class 2: Up to 17,000V AC
  • Class 3: Up to 26,500V AC
  • Class 4: Up to 36,000V AC

Important Notes:

  • Gloves must match the maximum voltage exposure
  • Overrating can reduce comfort and efficiency
  • Routine inspection and testing are essential

Raibod is the first Iranian producer of certified electrical insulating gloves, reducing the need for imports and ensuring national self-sufficiency.
